How to create a CMS Redirect

Redirects can be used to point a specific url at a district or school site to an alternative page that you've created, this is most often used to shorten a URL or to keep the same link while changing what page it points to over time.

You can find the redirects section as an Admin or Super Admin, within the CMS section of the Apptegy Platform under the left side tab named Redirects.

Path - This is the slug that will be appended to your domain to create the redirect address. Like the slug of a page, it only allows letters, numbers, and dashes. For example - if you want the page https://apptegy.com/jobs to be your redirect, you would enter jobs in this first field.

Redirect to - This is where you enter the full domain to which your redirect will take the user. It can be an internal page within your website or an external site.

Tip: The slug is the text that follows the / towards the end of your URL, and typically reflects the Page's name.
