Connect Search is a single search bar at the top of Connect that helps you find Rooms, Intranet pages, announcements, and files, so you don't have to click through every tab to find something like an HR policy.
Note: Connect Search is currently only available on the web.
What Connect Search finds

Pages | Page titles and the content on the page, for example a "Password Reset" section on a Tech Help page |
Announcements | Announcements from the Feed of the Rooms and Intranets you're in |
Materials | File names only, not the text inside the file |
Note: Results only come from the Rooms and Intranets you are already part of.
How to search
Click the search bar in the top navigation, from anywhere in Connect, and type 3 or more characters. Results appear as you type, grouped by type.
Narrow the results using the Rooms and Intranet tabs, which show a count for each, or the type pills: Announcements, Pages, Materials, Rooms, or Intranet.
Click a result to go straight to it.
Reading your results
Each group shows the top few results. Select See more to open the rest of that group.
Highlighted words show why a result matched. "1 more match" means the word appears again further down.
Select View all results to open the full results page. Press Esc to close the results panel.
Older announcements open in place: clicking one takes you right to it in the Feed. Select Jump to latest to get back to the top.
