Connect - Data Rollover 2026

What's Changing?

In preparation of the upcoming school year, we've introduced new features that greatly simplifies the process of the Connect/Roster Changeover.

How does it Work?

Campus Managers with Data Management can set a date to rollover in the Campuses tab, additionally you can set building-specific rollover dates.

When the chosen date arrives, Rooms will be unpublished, and the Rosters associated with those Connect rooms will be converted to manually added users.

Within Campus Management, Auto Unpublish can be enabled within the Campuses tab. The date set here will apply to all Connect rooms and Rosters, except for:

  • Any Buildings with a separate override for their unpublish date

  • Any Connect rooms with a separate override

  • Any Connect rooms with the setting Never unpublish automatically

What happens on the date I've chosen?

  • All applicable Connect rooms will be unpublished

  • Staff can still access them by filtering their All Classes view to “Unpublished”. If needed, they could re-publish Connect rooms

  • All applicable Rosters will be archived

  • Any Staff that is enrolled in a Connect room as a Moderator is able to adjust the rollover settings.

Note: If you already see a set date that has passed, that most likely means that your Connect rooms and rosters rollover has occurred.

What will my Staff See?

Staff will see a warning banner inside the Connect room in the days leading up to unpublishing so they are aware of the timing and can set a manual override if needed.

What if Staff want to customize the date?

If needed, Staff can set a custom unpublish date for their Connect room. This date will override anything set within Campus Management. This can be adjusted at any time by a Moderator or by a Campus Manager.

Never unpublish automatically - when enabled, the Connect room will not be affected by the dates set within Campus Management. It will remain published indefinitely unless a Moderator unpublishes it, or if a Campus Manager individually unpublishes it.

When should I do this?

The combination that works the best is to set an e-brake (one has most likely already seen set by our team over the summer for a default 10%). Then set your Rollover date in the campuses screen to the next day (the unpublishing happens overnight). After this is done, remove the e-brake and either re-push the file from your Student Information System, or request that our team re-attempts the file ingestion).
