Creating and Editing Pages in a Staff Room

Creating a Page

To create a page in a Staff Room, first create a Room or click into an exiting Room from the All tab in the left side menu.

Once you've made it to the Homepage of your Room, the Feed, you can click the + button located to the right of the settings gear. Once clicked, this opens up the Pages section on your screen and creates a new Tab in the top options of your Rooms.

Before adding content to a Room you need to add an Icon and a Name, this can be done on the left side of the screen under the Pages section. Once this customization is complete, click the the checkmark to the right of the name.

Once saved, you can now click the Get Started button to begin adding content to your page.


After completing the steps to create a page, you will be given the option to select a template. Start our Blank if you want to start from zero and create all of your content, select one of the existing templates if you would like to start with template content to more quickly create your page. Once you've chosen, click Continue to build your page.


Editing your Page

You can edit your page by either creating a new one and finishing a template, or clicking on an existing page you've created.

There are two layouts available, One and Two column that allow you to structure your page differently depending on the content needed.

When building a page you can go back and forth between the Basic Editor and Advanced Editor which include different content options.

Publishing, Drafting, Archiving and Scheduling Pages


Pubishing:

In the bottom right corner of your screen you have the option to Publish now which will set your page live now.

Drafting:

In the bottom right corner of your screen you have the option to Save as Draft which will save the page but not publish it until you return to work on it or publish it.

Archiving:

In the bottom left corner of your screen you have the option to Archive which will delete your page.

Scheduling:

In the bottom right corner of your screen you have the option to Schedule the page using the arrow to the right of the Publish now button which allows you to choose times to schedule.
