Setting and Managing Fallback Images

Where are fallback images used?

Fallback images allow you to add default images that appear in the following areas when an image is not uploaded.

  • Live Feed

  • News Feed

  • Staff/Directory

When making a post to either Live or News Feed, if an image is not uploaded along side the post in the image or cover image, the Fallback from the corresponding section will be used instead.

When adding a new Staff member, if an image is not used in the photo, the Fallback located in the Directory section will be used instead.

To add a fallback image:

Navigate to CMS → Settings and scroll to the Fallback Images section.

  • Drag your selection over the appropriate upload box.

  • Or, click "Upload" and choose an item from your computer.

Once the image is uploaded:

  • Click the edit icon in the upper left corner.

  • Access the image editing screen, where you can:

    • Crop

    • Rotate

    • Replace the image

Once you have updated your fallback images, select Save Changes.

Note: If you have not placed images into the provided fallback image spaces, the system will automatically generate placeholders.
